Ubossify is completely free to install and use. We do not charge any subscription fees, monthly fees, setup fees, or usage fees.

The only payments merchants make are for the products they choose to purchase from suppliers and the shipping costs required to deliver those products to their customers. These payments are made only after a customer places an order in your Shopify store.

1. What's Free

Using Ubossify is free, including:

  • Installing the Ubossify app from the Shopify App Store
  • Browsing and importing supplier products
  • Syncing products to your Shopify store
  • Automatic inventory and pricing synchronization
  • Order management
  • Tracking fulfilled orders
  • Access to the Ubossify dashboard
  • Customer support

There are no monthly subscriptions, no installation fees, and no charges for using the app.

2. Order Costs

When one of your customers purchases a product that is fulfilled through Ubossify, you pay only the costs required to fulfil that specific order. These costs consist of:

Shipping CostThe delivery cost required to ship the order to your customer.

You only pay for orders that you choose to fulfil. If there are no orders, there are no fulfilment charges.

Example: A customer purchases a product from your Shopify store. Product cost: KES 1,000. Shipping cost: KES 250. Total payable to Ubossify: KES 1,250. The full cost breakdown is displayed inside your Ubossify dashboard before payment is requested.

3. How Payments Work

Ubossify processes fulfilment payments through M-Pesa. You can pay in either of two ways:

  • Ubossify Wallet: Top up your Ubossify Wallet using M-Pesa STK Push. When an order is ready for fulfilment, the product and shipping costs are automatically deducted from your wallet balance.
  • Direct M-Pesa Payment: If your wallet balance is insufficient, Ubossify sends an M-Pesa STK Push request to your registered phone number. Once payment is completed, the supplier is instructed to fulfil the order.

4. Why These Charges Are Not Billed Through Shopify

Ubossify does not charge merchants for installing or using the app. We do not bill merchants through Shopify's Billing API because the amounts merchants pay are not app fees. They are payments for:

  • Physical products purchased from third-party suppliers
  • Shipping and fulfilment costs required to deliver those products

These costs vary from one order to another and are settled directly through M-Pesa before fulfilment. Ubossify does not collect recurring subscription fees, monthly charges, or usage-based fees outside Shopify Billing.
